Park infomation

Higashi Yashio Greenway is a park that connects the Shiokaze Park and the Aomi Kita Port Park. Higashi Yashio Greenway is the permanent home of the Soya, Japan’s first Antarctic research vessel, and the Museum of Maritime Science (Fune no Kagakukan). Located nearby is the Aomi Passenger Ferry Terminal, which offers access to the water bus that operates out of the terminal. This bus connects passengers to the Hinode Terminal. The Higashi Yashio Greenway is an attractive shoreline area that features a cascading tree line and ships of the adjacent Museum of Maritime Science. The area feels like a port town and is a perfect date spot for people desiring beautiful night scenery.
