Tatsumi Seaside Park

At this park, visitors can enjoy eight types of new sports that are safe and great for recreation like putter golf and free tennis. Of course you can rent your equipment. These sports are great for the whole family to get some of the exercise they need. The New Sports Festa is held every October, when you can enjoy all of them free of charge. There is also playground equipment (like slides and swings) and dog running courses you can enjoy with your pet.

Equipment Rental Fee: JPY 150/hour per person per game. Free if you bring your own equipment.
How to Reserve: Same-day reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
Closed: December 29 – January 3

Disc Golf

Disc Golf
Compete to reach the goal in as few throws of a flying disc as you can.

Pétanque

Pétanque
Compete to score points by throwing metal balls close to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet.

Ground Golf

Ground Golf
Compete by using a special wooden stick to hit a ball into the hole post’s metal ring in as few strokes as you can.

Free Tennis

Free Tennis
A kind of mini tennis played on 1:10 scale soft tennis court. Players use a racket that is an enlarged table tennis paddle.

Shuffleboard

Shuffleboard
Compete by pushing discs with a long and narrow cue to shoot them and score points.

Mallet Golf

Mallet Golf
Compete by using a wooden mallet to hit a ball into holes in as few strokes as you can.

Putter Golf

Putter Golf
Compete using only a putter in this variant of miniature golf to get the lowest number of strokes.

Garden Golf

Garden Golf
Enjoy this form of putter golf using billiard balls in a garden, plaza or other narrow space. Compete by using a special golf club to hit the ball into a cup buried in the ground in as few strokes as you can.
